Directions to Charlestown
Head to St Austell and follow the signs for Charlestown. You will come to a roundabout where Charlestown is now more prominently signposted. Take the exit as directed and you will find yourself on Charlestown Rd.
Follow the road, passing a school on your right, and turn left at Foundry Drive. Then, take the first left turn into Polmear Apartments. Follow the cobbled track around to the parking bays indicated above.

Another small village with a 12 th century inn, The Crown, which is one of the oldest in Cornwall. Many original features remain and it is a favourite destination for walkers and dog-owners. Serving excellent food and with a generously sized beer garden it is definitely worth a visit.- especially in winter with its roaring fire!
Lostwithiel
Located within a 10 minute drive you will find this ancient stannary town, renowned for its many antique shops and delightful river. Here you will also find an abundance of eateries: there are several pubs (dog friendly) and cafe’s but a picnic by the river is a wonderful afternoon out.
