Nestled in a hamlet of just seven properties, Budds Farm is a former dairy farm thoughtfully restored into a handful of welcoming holiday cottages. Whether you’re reconnecting with loved ones, recharging in nature, or simply catching your breath, our peaceful spot invites you to press pause.
Our Cottages
The soul of the farm still lives here. Wander the old farmyard, glimpse traditional cob barns, and feel the quiet heritage in every stone. Our carefully restored farm buildings are a nod to our roots.
Carthouse Barn
Light-filled and laid-back, Carthouse is a peaceful retreat just for two.
Its open-plan layout makes the most of the space, while the woodburning stove adds a cosy touch for quiet nights in.
Step outside to your own private garden, with views that stretch out over the fields. Perfect for couples looking to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the stillness of rural Cornwall

Wagtail Barn
Wagtail is full of rustic charm and countryside character, making it a relaxed and flexible base for small families or friends. Inside, you’ll find comfy spaces to curl up and catch your breath, and outside, a private garden that opens up to the wide Cornish landscape.
Whether you’re cooking up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen or settling down with a film after a day on the coast path, Wagtail wraps you in comfort year-round.
Swallow Barn
Thoughtfully restored and full of warmth, Swallow offers a gentle, get-away-from-it-all feel. Its soft interiors and log burner invite you to slow down, while the garden brings the outdoors in. Ideal for morning coffees or evening stargazing.
With everything you need for a comfortable stay (including strong WiFi, Smart tech, and a sound system), it’s a restful base for those who like their countryside escapes with just the right amount of ease.
Availability & booking
Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, Budds Farm welcomes you with open skies, open space, and open arms.
Our cottages are available to rent by the week, with Carthouse and Wagtail running Saturday to Saturday, and Swallow welcoming guests from Friday to Friday.
We can sometimes offer short breaks (minimum 3 nights) or different changeover days, especially outside the busier months — just get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
